Grind Burger Kitchen was founded by Liz and Jesse Huot as Grind Gourmet Burger Truck in the Spring of 2012, and by June of 2014 had grown into a permanent location. With little more than what was in their bank account they rebuilt a former sushi joint into a thriving restaurant that has received local and national attention. By partnering with local farms for ingredients and primarily for their proprietary blend of beef, Grind has become an ambassador for local grass-fed beef and the local food movement in Louisville. Now having grown into a successful brick and mortar location, the truck has since closed but they continue to support local farms through commitment to innovation and commitment to quality.
