We made a special drive from San Diego to visit Ramona Cafe. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu, Hubby had the chicken fried steak. Kids had chicken strips and fish and chips. Sorry to say, nothing special. The service was fast and friendly but the food just didn't have a whole lot of flavor. Maybe it's just the way southern food is????

This is a great place to eat the chicken cordon bleu lived up to its hype. The cinnamom bun was to die for, we shared it between us - wish it was closer to Winnipeg. The waitress was friendly, helpful. Will go back the next time we're in SanDiego. Worth the drive!

Grew up in Ramona, and have always loved the breakfast. Still a major crave anytime I'm back in town. Highly recommend most breakfast dishes, but the best I've had is the ABC omelette (avocado, bacon and cheddar). HUGE omelette that usually leaves you with left-overs, even if you come for a late breakfast.

Nothing special. Had a contry fried steak and biscuit, but nothing to write home about. Not wortht the drive unless you're in the area.

Food was OK, nothing special. We had philly cheese steak- Dry, Prime rib sand - dry, chicken coudon blu,- good, cornbread-outstanding! Cinnamon roll was good, but not better than cinnabon and not worth the $. We happened to be in the area so we went. if I would have specifically driven there to experience the food from any location more than 15 minutes away, I would have been greatly dissapointed.

Small, very tight room. Actually, we four could not leave when the place was full. That said, we returned the next day from 45 miles away. Great comfort food, but the pies are outstanding.

I thought this place was OK, but nothing outstanding. Liked the aviation theme, & the drive from SD was kinda cool
