Was looking forward to this stop. I got the chili burger and mom got the spaghetti with chili. Also got my first pint (of many throughout Seattle) of Manny's Pale Ale here. We both very much enjoyed. Loved the service and the whole vibe of place too. Don't understand all the haters in comments from before. They wouldn't have put dives in the title of show if they didn't go to places like this and if people didn't want to go to them.

Was my first Diners Drive-ins and Dives experience and ***'Dive'*** hit the nail on the head! Drove from Vancouver Canada with my children to try it out and found out it was 21 and older once we got there. I don't even know were to start with how bad EVERYTHING was! I ordered 2 spaghetti and chili and there are no words for how bad it was!!!! First of all, the staff were rude and unfriendly, the place was a dump, I went to use the washroom and walked out it was so gross! The food was inedible! The chili, served cold, was watery and bland, served over over-cooked spaghetti. If I was Guy, I'd be embarrassed to have endorsed this place on his show. I lost a lot of respect for his credibility after eating there! Don't eat there! Waste of time and money. You will end up tossing it in the trash. We wound up at Carl's Junior. Natalie F. Mike's "Chilly" Palace. Previous comment was extremely kind. At a MINIMUM chili should be served HOT! We had the Chili Fries and the Spaghetti Bowl. The Fries were passible, probably because the fries were fresh (relatively) and hot enough to at lease warm the chili. The Spaghetti was room temperature. The chese MIGHT have melted were the chilli, the spaghetti, or even the room been warmer. Spent 30 minutes on the toilet an hour later, ironically at a fast food restaurant. Save your money and save your bowels. If you must go there, pay the $55 for the Grilled Cheese, at least it might be hot.

Totally disappointing! I was excited to try out my first DDD restaurant, but it left me wishing I had made my own chili. It was greasy, not very flavorful, and killed my stomach. Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

Tiny hole-in-the-wall tavern, not a family place at all. After a hike at Discovery Park, I was hungry and thirsty, so off to Mike's I went, based on the show DD&D. Huge disappointment. Burger was just okay; the chili was--well--entirely forgettable. I won't be back, and won't encourage anyone else to go, either.

On the drive from Vancouver to Sea-Tac airport we were looking forward to a great bowl of chili. It was a great big disappointment. I've had tinned Chili that tasted better.

Tried this about 6 years back when I lived in Magnolia and was most definitely unimpressed. I've had canned chili that tasted fresher.
