Growing up in Chimayo was an experience not to be forgotten. Our grandparents, aunts and uncles taught us our traditions and culture. Grandpa Severo Jaramillo would put us to work planting chile, corn and calabacítas when we were just a little bit taller than the chickens running loose around the farm.

This was the only time I've been disappointed in a Triple D spot. While the setting was lovely, unfortunately the food was not to my taste. The service was slow. When served, the meal was not hot. The blue corn enchiladas, the featured DDD menu item, sat like a rock on my stomach for two days. Try Harry's Roadhouse or La Chosa instead.
