I've only dined in the restaurant once but have had takeout multiple times (for dinner only). My go-to order is fried chicken; their fried chicken is great - crunchy fry on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The mashed potatoes and gravy that come with the fried chicken are good also. My next favorite order is ordering sides - gumbo and mac and cheese - because very few people want to order entrees and sides, Those two sides make for a hearty meal, and I really enjoy the gumbo - lots of great flavor, a hint of smoke and spicy richness.
