On my recent trip to Cranston, RI, I made sure to stop by Edgewood Cafe, a retro diner featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. As soon as I walked in, I felt transported back in time with the vinyl booths, counter seating, and 1950s decor. Since 1948, this family-run spot has been serving classic American diner fare with Greek influences. I tried the pastichio, a Greek lasagna baked with savory ground beef and creamy béchamel - just as Guy Fieri raved about on the show. The stuffed squid and spanakopita were also standouts. From the cozy, vintage atmosphere to the delicious comfort foods, Edgewood Cafe is a must-visit for any foodie traveling through Rhode Island seeking some tasty local flavor. I'm so glad I stopped by this Cranston gem.
Had dinner at the Edgewood Cafe last night. Wow, great little cafe and fabulous food. Had their little necks with chourico and would have it again and again. I highly recommend this cafe if you are looking for a great dinner place to share with friends.
