Had a great meal; started off with a cup of the Cheeseburger Soup and enjoyed the Chorizo Meatloaf as my entree. Finished off my meal with the El Diablo as an after dinner drink. Had great service and had a good conversation with Chef Michael as he came out to check on my meal. A small touch that most restaurants don't do anymore.

We met Chef Mike from Rizzo’s Diner in Memphis TN this evening. Found out we are from the same neck of the woods. Great guy. We did have a heck of a time finding the place just happened to look down Main St and there it was. They moved in February. The new address is 492 S Main St, Memphis, TN 38103. We started with the Lobster Pronto Pup and Cheeseburger Soup, both were outstanding. I’m not a big fan of lobster to me it tastes like nothing. But the lobster had great flavor, the coating and the Creole Mustard Aioli didn’t over power it. I’m still can’t decide which cheeseburger soup I like better; Rizzo`s or Grover’s in Buffalo. We spilt the Chorizo Meatloaf and Lake Farms Catfish for our main course. The sides complimented the meatloaf and Catfish perfectly. The depth of flavor was right on, as was the service. Rizzo`s Diner is on our return to list. We were ½ way back to Nashville when I realized I forgot to take photos. Oh Well

Let's just say that if we lived there that they would know us by our names! This would be our local favorite place. The lobster on a stick was just yummy and the roast beet and Mac and cheese were out of this world. Great waitress...just a very friendly place.
