Carrot cake pancake are the best thing EVER! Just perfect. We also ate the state street biscuit meal, hands down awesome. The biscuits were perfect, the chicken was crispy, and the gravy was the icing on the cake. Skip the chicken & waffles, not a fan. The location is great, it's small, and the line is justified, so definitely worth the wait. The staff is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. Make sure to bring cash.

Best sandwich I ever ate, the shrimp BLT, with fried green tomato. Outstanding and the folks are very nice.

;) Just visited today as one stop on the amazing Culinary Tour of Charleston (Bulldog Tours). What a wonderful bakery-cafe with buttery favorites like smoothest grits ever and sweet potato cornbread. Do not miss this local treasure.

Awesome little hole in the wall. If you blinked you would drive right past it. Wife had the tomato pie, sounds gross, but awesome! Don't even ask for the recipe-no one will ever get it! I had the chicken bis quit and gravy, guy had it, and it was a perfect fix for the 4-5 bottles of wine we had the night before. Great prices and just simply put-great food :)

I loved this place. So sad it is now closed.
