The Magnolia Pancake Haus

The kids seating customers place their friends ahead in line. Management was no help. He talked in loud voice and tried to intimidate us in front of customers seated at their tables. Food is decent, but it doesn't extend to hired help, especially management.

LOVED THIS PLACE. While stopping at several DDDs in the area on a Texas road trip, we stopped here on a Friday morning at 9:30. The waiting list was already at 30 - 45 min but was well worth the wait. Friendly service with very reasonable wait on the food after ordering, especially as busy as they were. Generous portions. The Apple Cinnamon Pancakes were wonderful. Couldn't eat it all,,,,,I tried very hard. Try it, you'll love it.

A great place for breakfast any time of day. I had the Apfel Pfanfecuchen and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The hash was also outstanding. It was a little hard to find as it is off the beaten path of all the San Antonio attractions, but definately worth the effort and the wait.

Although the wait can be long, they've adapted and have efficient ways of letting you know when you're table is ready. The syrup must be a narcotic because it's so addicting, the Calico Hash is amazing, and the overall experience is always spot-on. Definitely my go-to for breakfast and/or brunch dates.

I will preface this by saying I hate breakfast. I will however say that this is the place to come to for breakfast so I am some what of a rough critic. The wait on a weekday was 30 minutes which should tell you that this place is a bitch in terms of getting a seat at times. I ordered the Denver Omellete with pancakes and my friend ordered the apple frugen fargha hausenflawsen whatever the hell it is. I have to say the pancakes were great the strawberry syrup was divine. The omelette was well made but it lacked a story...I asked for something spicy and I got something ehhhh... needless to say i tried the apple krucken vowgen lol and it was so sweet i was gonna barf. but if i am in SA again i will hit this place up like ike did tina.

The apple pecan waffles are AMAZING!  We go several times when we travel to SA...  We have even attempted to make our own since we live in Michigan

The best!!! Love how they text you when your table Is ready. Was able to go play a round of laser tag with my family then had a perfect breakfast. Hash was excellent. Bacon pancakes where to die for. Definitely will go back.

This is such a great place for breakfast. An extensive menu, great service and moderate prices. My wife and I eat here several times a month and we have never been disapointed.
