Lived in the red brick building behind Guy as he is walking in in the video clip. Went to Becky's all the time and I go back every time I return to Maine. My favorite was the breakfast by far! Amazing pancakes, great potatoes, coffee and Italian toast! All around great diner breakfast! Do not miss it when you are in town. Loved tromping down the street on a cold winter morning when I had the rare snow day from work!! Loved the spaghetti too! And the corn chowder! And the blueberry muffins!

What kind of sick person rips open a live lobster with her bare hands, stuffs it while it's squirming and pops it into a hot? Why not kill it quickly in boiling water and then stuff it? Sick. I'll skip this place.

We stopped at Becky's on our way to Bar Harbor Maine. I ordered the lobster roll-was really nothing special. My husband had the crab melt-which was very good. We also ordered the haddock chowder. We both found that very bland and WAY too many large cut potatoes. (onion and garlic with small diced potatoes would have been a great improvement). The breakfast dishes being served did look awesome. If we are ever in the area again, that is what I would stick with.

Stopped here for breakfast the other day. Great buttermilk pancakes. Great prices and service. I absolutely love the home made cookies and the low prices!!

Just got back from having lunch at Becky's. The lobster role was alright, nothing special. The kids pancakes and grilled cheese were better. The atmosphere is low key. I stayed away from the bake stuffed hoping the lobster roll would be a safe choice. The biggest disapointment were the number of flies all around the place! I suggest going to the flat bread pizza place at 72 Commercial St. instead, (1/2 mile from Becky's).

We were at Becky's on July 5 and were very disappointed with the stuffed lobster, it was dry, with hardly any seafood, maybe it was an off night, but we were not impressed! And it didn't look anything like the nice light fresh stuffed lobster on the 3 D show! We stopped in for breakfast the next morning and had trouble getting a smile out of anyone in the place, breakast was average! Hopefully the next 3D diner we try will be better.

Went to Becky's after using this site.... great decision. They have recently revamped their diner to include seating upstairs and overlooking the water..,.GREAT view. First up.... fish chowder. Great flavor soup packed with lots and lots of fish and nice chunks of potatoes. For meals, I got the baked stuffed lobster and my fiance got the turkey dinner. The seafood stuffing was amazing and had huge chunks of seafood. I loved that! Most places say seafood stuffing but it is mostly just bread crumbs defintely not the case here!!! My fiances meal had great sausage stuffing packed with lots of sausage. The gravy which covered the meal had lots of flavor and really brought it back to that homecooked thanksgiving meal he loves so much. The butternut squash melted in your mouth and the turkey was nice and moist. They make their own desserts here so of course we splurged. I got strawberry rubarb pie... to die for!! Great flavor and served warm with a scoop of ice cream. My fiance go the maine blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting and he loved it! We will be going back soon.

In Portland on business, twice this past week I had the pleasure of dining @ Backys. I had the 1.5lb steamed Lobster special both nights. Awesome, Awesome, awesome. The corn the first night was great, the steamed vegetables the next, not so much. But, I'm not there for the veges anyway. My business associate had the chicken Parm (both nights also), and if I hadnt been in Maine, it would have been my choice as well. Cheese & sauce covered chicken pattys served on top of a BOWL of sghetti!. Cant wait to go back to Maine...didnt realize it was on Triple D until I got home (Jersey) and discovered the noteriety. Very cool. Consider me a regular....and yes, I bought a mug & bumper sticker!

Just went to Becky's after using this site...the diner is known for their baked lobster and their homemade seafood stuffing! My mom had the lobster, I had scallops with the stuffing...sooo good! Saw that what they were known for was missing so just passing along the info!

I've made many a trip to Portland just to have lunch at Becky's and never been disapointed. Grea New England food. If you go on a Friday try the fish chowder or the fried haddock.

Saw the show on Triple D and wanted to visit when we were in Maine. Without a doubt the stuffed lobster is the best. Come hungry as there is plenty to eat and really reasonably priced.

Becky's is know for the best lobster roll in Maine. We visited 9 years ago and I dreamed of returning. When we finally got to go back this spring, we were not disappointed. We ate lobster all up and down the coast of Maine, but none could compare to Becky's. It's absolutely the best.

Gotta have breakfast at Becky's! The sausage and coffee is the best. The service is always so wonderful too.

Best blueberry muffins and loaded fruit bowls in the world. My friends love the blueberry pancakes which are award winning.

Over-priced and under-seasoned! Little to no flavor in the lobster roll and lobster salad. Bread pudding cold and dry--yuck!
