My meal tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. Thankfully there is a BBQ joint literally just south of there on the same street called HawgJaw, that blows this out of the water.

Burnt Ends, Smoked Turkey, and Brisket...the Triple D Platter...the ends and the turkey were fantastic, the brisket was fair (just a tad bit dry). The Mrs had the Burnt Ends Platter...top notch! The sides were the Potato Casserole/Baked Beans...the Mrs had Onion Rings and Mac&Cheese Bites. Definitely a go-to-again place!!!

I am on vacation and wanted to try the triple d plate or the burnt ends at smoking guns BBQ and the burnt ends were delicious, I'm not a turkey lover but it was also very good , ribs were very good also...everone enjoyed the side dishes also...I would recommend Smoking Guns BBQ to everyone...is it the best in KC.?...I'm not sure but it is pretty darn close if it isnt...I will return for more burnt ends before vacation is over...

By far the best place north of the river. As for Mary's comment, I grew up in KC and visit my parents often since I moved away. The only discussion we have about BBQ is what day and time we are going to Smokin' Guns. Then we figure out when we are going to go to Minsky's for some pizza!

There are a million great BBQs in Kansas City, MO. This show seems to avoid all of the great ones and manages to hit the crappy ones. Fans please ask anyone in KC and they can name great ones on every corner.

The burnt ends and the 1/2rack of ribs were rockin! Get the side of potatoe cassarole and cole slaw and there you have a couple of great meals! Thanks Linda at Smokin Guns & DDD. Best of luck on your new building, but glad we experianced the old one!

Probably the wors BBQ brisket I have ever had. The brisket tasted liked it had been boiled, cooled down and reheated. It didn't have a smoke ring or the slightest taste of smoke. Wish I had my money back. Stay Away!

Absolutely the best BBQ place my family and I have been to in KC. Ribs and burnt ends are phenominal. Ordered it for the the last Border War game and warmered it back up at the Tailgate. Just wonderful!!!

Stopped here on a road trip. Given what I saw on the show, I was expecting a little more. I had the burnt ends and they were mediocre. The ones at Arthur Bryants are better. The sides were just typical bbq place sides. My friend LOVED the turkey though and said that it was the moistest turkey she had ever had. I don't like turkey so it was lost on me.
