Stopped in for lunch and had the Carolina Sandwich and the Mrs had the Pulled Pork Sandwich...got a single spare for desert :) We'll have to stop back for the supper trip next time...the smoker and the PitMaster were very cool...driving up and getting a whiff of all the goings on will make you salivate!

I went on a Rib run from Omaha, NE to the Kansas KS / MO area down to Fayettville AR, Fort Smith AR, Little Rock AR over to Memphis TN, up to ST.Louis MO and back to the KC area (1600 miles in 3 days). WOODYARD was the BEST! Very friendly people, good serive and great food. I talked to the owner cooking at the smokers, he was busy but still had time to chat. It was like stopping at my uncle's 125 yr old farm in Iowa. I'll be back time and time again. I'm telling everyone I know to stop by when they are in the KC area. It's the BEST!

Had the burnt ends sandwich and it was very good. The cheesy corn was not what one might think because of the name but I liked it. If I were to find myself back in Kansas City, KS, I would eat there again. Service was quick and the waitstaff were friendly.

I had the brisket and my friend had the triple p sandwich. Both were excellent! The flavor was great, the meat was very tender and the service was wonderful.....she made us feel right at home! I highly recommend and will definitely go back! :-D

I ate there at noon, I had the daily special, "Triple P". Pulled pork with ham, bacon and provolone. I pulled the ham bacon and provolone off and ate it separate. I thought the pulled pork was very good. I was there from noon till 12:30 and there were only 5 other people came in. Whats up with that. Its much better than most places.

My boyfriend Loved it! I thought it was pretty good. We tried all the meat on the menu. Tried the chilli with the burnt ends, he liked it, I thought it was okay. The meat was yummy but I like it with seasoning and sauce which wasn't there so much. However, I will rate it on his account of a BBQ lover.

OMG...the most amazing ribs and burnt ends on the planet. Their sauce is finger licking good. Be sure to stop by when you're in town and bring me home some of their BBQ sauce...yum
