Tried this place and was not impressed. Actually, have been a fan of DDD since it started. We travel for business and get to try out a lot of these places. Now I see Fieri has placed his old shows on Amazon and they are not available any more in places such as this. Takes all the fun out of searching for these places and is one of the reasons for the popularity of the show. Considering the spotty results visiting these places, some were great but some others also sucked, and the fact that we can no longer review a place before we try it out, I think I'm going to just STOP watching the show and rely on Google, Yelp, and others for the reviews. Probably more reliable and I don't think I should reward Fieri with my patronage after he basically dumped us.......LOL, I originally voted for the other guy anyway, Adam Gertler, runner-up of the Next Food Network Star against Guy.

Tripple D - Well, I wished you had covered the breakfast menu. Drove from Livermore to E-ville to try this place out. I would give it a 1 on a 10 scale, and only because of the coffee. Slow service, table was not clean, had been washed with a stinky old towel which left a wonderful smell, food was not anything special or unique and the

AWESOME breakfast...

Went for lunch and had some really good, interesting burgers. We were quite happy with our order. They were able to accommodate our request for "extra crispy" fries which can be rare. The salads & sandys at the table next to us looked really good. And HUGE. Place was packed and everyone looked pretty darn happy. Practically next door to lots of shopping in Emeryville, and a much better option than the usual options.

We went last night for dinner because we saw it on DDD website. Husband, expert hamburger eater teenage son and I all thought our burgers were great. Unique combinations. Portabello mushroom and goat cheese burger with sweet potato fries melted in my mouth. Been comparing sweet potato fries whenever possible and theirs have been the best so far. Give it another try for dinner. Fun decorations.

So sad! My husband and I were up early so we decided to have an early lunch somewhere fun and new. Bad decision for sure. Don't plan on looking at the lunch menu until 11:30 period. So we went ahead and had breakfast. I had the biscuit and egg. Well, the "homemade biscuit" was not only rock hard but had been burnt in the middle when it was heated up on a grill (I guess). How do you burn two sides of a biscuit in the middle?? It was the first time I ever got hashbrowns in a coagulated rectangle. Not too good. My husbands' comment about his breakfast, "its sad when the only good thing you can say about your meal is that the sausage was good". Do yourself a favor. Unless you are a vegan, go to the Denny's a couple of blocks away. You will enjoy a better meal at a cheaper price.
