we had the Pork Chops were great with baked potatoes - Delicious - three of us had to take half of them home my niece ate the food for breakfast and lunch. great place.

This is easily the worst place we have ever visited from triple"D". Upon arriving, we were overwhelmed by the stale, smoky smell. This diner is in an old Reno casino and it shows. Although the service was very good, the food was mediocre. The kids ordered chocolate shakes which were average at best. The burgers were all right, nothing special on plain store bought rolls. The fries were bland and not seasoned at all. The fish and chips were awful. You can get better frozen at a supermarket. When in Reno, save your money, we will NEVER go back here!!!

Lemonade pork chops were delicious. Chocolate cake with pistachio icing was so good we went back the next day for another piece!

Ate there on 11/15/11. Chicken fried steak was not good. Had beets with it which were a little under cooked.  However the ice tea was good. Downtown Reno is a dump!

WE ARE PLANNING TO RETIRE TO RENO. WE NEVER KNEW THIS PLACE EXISTED UNTIL WE CAUGHT IT ON DDD. WE WERE A LITTLE EARLY FOR THE PORK CHOPS MARINADE BUT WHEN WE TOLD THEM WE TRAVELED ALL THE WAY FROM THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF VT THEY WENT OUT OF THE WAY TO DO THE PORK CHOPS. THEY WERE FABULOUS. THE SERVICE AND STAFF WERE GREAT. A DEF MUST WHEN IN RENO. WE WILL ALWAYS GO BACK THERE. PORTIONS ARE SUPERB. PRICED RIGHT.

This place is know for its Meatloaf and Tri-tip sandwich. Great stuff. Super-expansive menu! Totally worth the drive just for the onion straws.

Traveled all the way from Oregon to try this one out, service was great!  We tried the pork chops which were featured on DDD, flavor was delicious and meat was oh so tender but the ones we saw on TV were WAY thicker cut than what we got.  I guess Guy gets the better deal.  Recommend the onion chips and mashed potatoes as sides, everything is homemade, even their salad dressings.  All in all, worth the trip!
