Fabulous place, we go there anytime we are in Honolulu. The fish is as fresh as you can get, the atmosphere is casual and the wait staff are very proficient and attentive. You should try the Loco Moco breakfast with fried rice too...worth getting up early to enjoy!

I was in Honolulu in March 2013. I was able to get to Nico's Pier 38 and it did not disappoint. There was good, live music at mid afternoon and the fish was amazing. Fresh and the preparation was very unique. I had the Furikake Mahi Mahi. It was pan seared and served with a garlic cilantro sauce that was so flavorful. I was really impressed. It is out of the way and a little tricky to find but well worth it. **** Four Stars!

This place was great. The best fish we have ever eaten. So glad we saw Triple D and found Nico's. We ate here 2 times during our week in Honolulu. We come to Ohau each year and this has become one of our favorite places. Can't wait till next time.

I gave it a 4 star and my wife gave it a five. She loved the fish.

Off the beaten path and kind of a pain to find. Make sure you have your GPS handy. Chicken was not that good. The seared tuna was off the hook good. The ono stuffed with crab meat is a special they barely make so don't have your heart set on getting it because you probably will not get it. Order the fresh fish and you will be happy.

Stopped in for breakfast on my way to Pearl Harbor-got the Fish and Eggs. I was leary-who eats fish for breakfast? I was rewarded with a delicious and moist hunk of fish-very generous, great scrambled eggs, a dollop of rice (thought this was wierd but it was a great side) and fruit salad. A filling, hearty, and nicely prepared breakfast in paradise. I may be back there tomorrow for dinner.
