I had the Roast Pork with White Rice, Black Beans, and Maduros. This was just an okay dish in my opinion. I have had much better Cuban food in Miami and Chicago. The service was great though. The roasted pork with onions on top was crispy which made the dish decent. I was just hoping for a little more flavor when compared to other Cuban dishes I've had. 6.9/10

Mambos is just great. Been coming to this family-run restaurant for 20 years and it's remained the same friendly delicious gem. You can't make everyone happy every time, but the dozens and dozens of people I've brought here have always been happy with the food an service.

I was hesitant to try it because of a couple negative reviews of slow service, but am very glad we went. The food came within 10 minutes of ordering, the waiter and other staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the mambo chicken and it was excellent. I am usually not a fan of plantains, but these were the best I have had. My fiancé had the roasted pork and he thought it was very good. It was a fun experience and we will definitely go back. Lucia

Great food and now featuring live music with some of L.A.'s best.

Food was good, service was suspect.  We had asked for hot sauce three separate times and it finally arrived with 3 bites of my meal left.  Food took almost 30 mins to arrive.  Needless to say, the special was really good.

I had a very good meal.  I had the chicken mambo, the black beans were great and the service was very good.  I went for dinner, it wasn't crowed at all.  Ash is a great waitress.  She had the vegaterian tamales and said they were great.

Mambo's is awesome. Been coming here for 9 years. Yeah, the service gets busy sometimes - we joke around and call it being "Mamboed". But the food is awesome EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The "El Pedro" is the greatest - man, what do they put in those beans? It's like crack! Sooo good.

The service here is horrible. A 1 1\2 hour wait to get our order. The witress was nowhere to be found to refill our drinks or check on us. And after all of that the food here is not that great. Average at best. There are much, much better Cuban restaurants in the L.A. area than this one. Don't waste your time.

:-D Enjoyed the food and people mucho!  Loved the fried yucca.  All the food was great.  Really liked the Mambo Chicken (the sauce is killer).  We had three dishes, all were great!
