I have friends in Rosenburge so when I went to visit them I sugested we try the Taco Station. I have only been there once but will have to say that I was dissapointed. The food I had just wasn't up to par for my taste. Seemed like lunch room food I use to get in school. Didn't care for the salsa either which I usualy dribble on my entre, rice, and beans. The portions were large and the prices were low, but I have to say that I probably won't go back unless someone else wants to try it. Every place can have a bad day, but I just didn't care for their cooking.

I did have a friend from North Carolina and one from Arizona, and none of us agreed on what the best Mexican food tastes like. I wish you'd elaborated on why you disliked it so much, it would have been more helpful.

My family and I recently move to the Houston area from North Carolina. I had watched the restaurant being featured on triple D on Food Network. It looked great and had to try it. In one word DISGUSTING. What a let down. What was Guy Fieri Talking about when he endorsed this place?????

Must have gone on an off day... My family has had nothing but good experiences there. Never been charged for chips and salsa, food has NEVER taken more than 15 minutes (even going on a Saturday during lunch)

Bobs had definately taken a downard turn. I think that once they went on the food network they let it go to their heads. The taco quality/size has decreased. On multiple occasions I have spent roughly forty-five minutes waiting for 2 tacos. You might think this only happens on busy days but I was one of 12 people inside. To top it off, when my tacos came out wrong, it took them less than five minutes to make new correct ones. Makes you wander why it took so long in the first place. This is also ONE OF THE ONLY mexican food restraunts that I have ever been to that actually charges you for chips and salsa. They definately forgot about keeping the customers that have been coming in for years and how to make a consistant taco. Oh and this is a place that definately acts upon the old addage, "when the shephard is away, the sheep will play."
