I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to East Side Banh Mi in Nashville, TN. Located in the bustling 5 Points neighborhood, this small but mighty Vietnamese sandwich shop packs a punch with its flavorful, fresh ingredients and laid-back atmosphere. Upon arriving at East Side Banh Mi, I was immediately struck by the friendly, laid-back vibe of the place. The restaurant is small, with just a few tables and a counter for ordering, but the space is filled with plants and decorations that give it a cozy, welcoming feel. As for the food, let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I opted for the classic banh mi sandwich, which was filled with savory grilled pork, pickled vegetables, and a spicy sriracha mayo. The combination of flavors was absolutely heavenly, and the sandwich itself was fresh, crispy, and satisfying. But East Side Banh Mi isn't just about the sandwiches - they also offer a variety of other tasty options, including pho, spring rolls, and vermicelli bowls. And if you have a sweet tooth, be sure to save room for their amazing coconut tapioca pudding for dessert. Overall, I would highly recommend East Side Banh Mi to any Gen-X foodies looking for a tasty, affordable, and laid-back dining experience. The friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and cozy atmosphere make it a great spot to grab a quick bite or spend an afternoon relaxing with friends.

I haven’t eaten at this restaurant yet. But I have eaten at Chad and Gracie’s restaurants in California. They were fantastic. Healthy and delicious food! They’re both dedicated to serving nothing but the best. You really can’t go wrong! I wish them “nothing but the best” in all their future endeavors!
