Been there and won't be back, even though it's only about an hour from home. The bathroom grossed me out, small men/women facilities that the toilet was so close to the wall, I couldn't avoid touching it. Hard to enjoy the food with their lack of attention to this part of the experience.

Being from the South, I look for good eats when I need a break in the kitchen. The folks are as sweet as their strawberry lemonade! The fried chicken was as it should be...hot, crispy, tasty, and tender. The greens are made how I would expect as a southern staple to be. So was the baked macaroni and cheese. Location and parking weren't easy. Curing my craving of Deep South home cooking is so worth it.

Very good food. It does taste like home made.

The Drinks are huge, but the food is not that great. The service and hospitality was very nice. Still the food is just horrible, I feel akward leaving a 2 rating but the people were just to nice not to.

I'd rather stick a fork in my eye and go to the hospital than eat here again...food was ordered and I got something wrong.  Next time, I'm going to the casino.

Been to Southern Kitchen twice and have been disappointed both times. I give it "THE FINGER". Ordered a chicken sandwich and I received a piece of white bread and a chicken breast on top. Now that would have been fine but I found it a bit challenging to eat the bones!

We were traveling thru Tacoma on to a family reunion and stopped at Souther Kitchen for a late lunch. Saw the episode and the location here at flavortown and it was on the way there anyway. When we got there Gloria the owner was just leaving. The Hush puppies were ok, as was the sweat tea. But the sandwiches were just awful. I had a Catfish Filet and my wife tried a burger. The burger looked like it was 6 hours old and like tasted dried rubber. We couldnt/didnt finish either one. We didnt leave with a good impression. The folks were decent though. This was the first bummer stop out of the half dozen or so triple d locations.

I love their award-winning peach cobbler, and the corn cakes with a drizzle of honey are great for breakfast.  :)

The fried chicken was okay but not extraordinary.  The red beans and rice were good as well as the other sides.  Probably the best thing was the cornbread that is served like a huge pancake with butter and honey.  Place is tough to find and off the beaten path.  Maybe I hit them on a bad day as it was slow this evening.

The Chicken Fried Steak is the best! If you're thirsty, grab an amazing Strewberry Lemonaide (served in a big mason jar).

Very good Southern food in the Seattle metro area.  Love the catfish and grits!
