I am glad i didn`t read the comments before i went there. The place was fairly empty when we arrived there, our server a young man (T J , i think) and was fantastic he answered all of our questions about the menu and was super polite and friendly. My friend and i shared an order of plantains which did not disappoint. I ordered the rude boy chicken which was among the best jerk chicken i have tasted. My friend had the brown stew chicken which i tasted and found pleasant. Reggae music playing in the background and sipping on red stripe it was a fine meal with excellent service.

My husband is from Jamacia and he tried this place a few weeks ago. He loved it!! He said it tasted just like back home! Portions where a great size for the price as well! He said he DEFINETLY will be going back. Can't wait till I head up there so I can try it!

That's funny, I've been to Jamaican a number of times and I've been to this resturant as well. And it tasted just like the island food. FYI...Most foreign resturants Americanized their food to suit the American taste.

This place is not good enough to be in DDD show. Extremely over priced for the small portions you recieve, the beef patties are very small! I have ate Jamaican food in Jamaica and the Caymen Islands, it does NOT come close to being authenic Jamaican food, it should be called Americanized Jamaican Gates!

Once a mexican guy came into my electronics store asking if we had a copy machine he could borrow in spanish. we didn't, and i ultimately sent him next door but not before I asked him why he was in need of one. he showed me a check written from this restaurant for 80 dollars and asked me if i thought that was fair for 80 hours worth of work. I make a point of not eating here because of it.
