The family visited this restaurant in 2013 while in town for a long weekend and we had to go back again this year over Spring Break. The food was great! We picked different tacos and chips and shared them. If we go to Omaha again we will visit this place again.

This is a must stop any time in Omaha. The taco shells are not traditional, more the consistency of bread. I had two beff tacos with the hot sauce out of the mixer at the condiment bar. Worth the stop.
Don't get the comments of people saying these tacos have no flavor. I stopped in on my trip to Omaha, and I really liked what I had. I know this is no where near authentic Mexican, but good food is good food. I had the steak California taco, and loved it. Added some of the pico degio and jalopenos and their green salsa, and really enjoyed it. And by the way, there was plenty of flavor and not just from the toppings. The steak was great. I also had to try the chicken enchalda. Not as good as the steak taco, but still very good. And again, the chicken had a very good flavor that you can taste.

Went for the first time, dirty restaurant and the "taco" had ZERO flavor. The dough shell, like a carnival elephant ear and very little filling, don't waste your time. Come on Guy, if they are this bad, be honest, there is no way you really liked this place!

Had the chicken taco today for the first visit. I could'nt detect and flavor or seasoning to the meat. Don't get the hype.

Very little seasoning, dry enchiladas. There are other places that are far far better.

Neighborhood gem! Steak tacos were delicious! Tortillas were a bit strange at first, kind of tasted like a funnel cake, but were curiously addicting & perfect with the taco. Fresh ingredients, nice salsa bar. Spicy green salsa was amazing. Definitely worth the detour on our trip! Josie Magnolia, NJ

This place is a amazing. The California taco is great it's an amazing combination of a crunchy taco and a soft taco. It's crispy and fluffy at the same time, and the staff so super friendly.

Place is average at best, one of those 'been there/done that/NEXT' places. MANY other mexican places in town that are much better than this.

I wasnt impressed with this place at all... I watched a worker go from handling money in the register to making tortillas, oh yeah, did I mention they didn't wash their hands or wear gloves? EWWWWW....

Very disappointed with this place. We had pita bread style tacos and enchiladas and the meat was poorly seasoned. You could do better at home.

California Taco, we went January 22 2010, snow and ice made for an adventure in parking. However the California Taco was great, sauces were very good and our experience was memorable. It's just a short 3.5 hours from our home so we'll be back.

Don't bother, Taco Bell or anyother chain eatery beats this place hands down. I have eaten at a lot of the Triple D places. This place is lame.

Cali Taco is wonderful! Try the Chili Dip with half flour half corn chips. The Chimi is great as well!
