Visit- 04/19/2012 Visited from South Texas. I ate ENCHILADAS A LA LAGO SALADO. It was different. Sauce is different and thick. I don't really understand the chicken salad served with the enchiladas. That was different. I understand different areas think of Mexican food differently. They really try to fit as many people in that place as they can. (sorry for the double post. Just trying to connect accounts)

My son texted me earlier today to send me a photo of the Red Iguana logo and to tell me how jealous I was. Since I'm in New Jersey, I had to ask him what he was talking about (sorry, Guy - I just don't remember every name!) Well, he had taken his family to eat there and he said it was fantastic! He's supposed to go to Moochies, too, sometimes for some authentic Philly cheesesteaks like we get here.

It's been 2 months since I visited the Red Iguana, and I still dream about the lomo de puerco in mole de almendras. I sure wish they'd open a restaurant in California!

My husband and I had the house specialties the pork one and the beef one. Very salty and mushy. Would not go back unless you like salt

The food was simply amazing, the best thing is that there is such a selection of different items that you could eat there all week long!!! Tried the new one just down the street, same awesome food as well as a new touch of decor. All I can say is MMMMMMMM!

Great mole and samples before you order so you know what you're actually going to get.

I'm giving this place the benefit of the doubt since my only complaint was trying the mole that Guy recommended, but it wasn't my thing. I was not impressed but contribute that to mole in general. This placed was packed and the food that others were eating looked and smelled amazing. I would give it another try if in the area but would try something else.

Freaking awesome place. I thought I had been to alot of mexican food places but this place was great. The food was cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was unique. We went to the one that was on Triple D but there is a new one in the area.

The food was excellent! Be prepared to wait in line - the place was packed even at an early 5:00 p.m.

You go into a place at 1:30 in the afternoon and think it will be you and the cook and believe it or not it is 80% filled and keeps having people come in and out on a weekday. The only way that happens is incredible food. The wait for dinner can be long as it is so good everyone is coming here. I ate the Chile Verde Chicken enchilada and it had a wonderful green chile mole sauce. You know the place is good when you get chips and salsa and can't stop eating the chips as the salsa is so good!!!! This place is a gem and I wish there were many more of them to go to.

Visit 5/31/09 - Only had time a some tacos and a quick margarita. Chicken tacos are d-lish! The blended salsa was just spicy enough and the chips were perfectly crisp (under-salted a plus!) Margarita a bit strong but how can I really complain it was still very tasty. ** sorry no pic of the restaurant itself but hey the vans real cool!
