Yummy Yummy Yummy!!!! Fun place and the Capt. is cool. A bit pricey, but VERY good. We had the Sampler Platter and it was definitely enough to share. If you are in Williamsburg take the free ferry to Surry and drop in. Well worth it. Kenneth Wallace, NC

My husband and I are big fans of DDD and try as many of the restaurants as possible. We went Capt. Chuck's on our way home from Ocean City MD. We were very disappointed in the food, the service and the price. I've had better seafood at Red Lobster and the menu was very over priced. Restaurant was nice and unique. won't go back. Too much good food elsewhere.

Best thing I got was a T-shirt. Food was mediocre at best, the famed hush puppies were hard nuggets that were raw in the middle. Service was terrible. I regret driving all that way and will never go back. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This was my very first DDD joint. It is really good but nothing over the top special

My husband and I have been to Chuck's twice. Both times we've had friendly service and we've enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I get the crab cakes; he gets the big sampler platter. We enjoy it all and we'll be back!

Great service, Great Shrimp, crab cake, and maybe our favorite was the crab soup :)

Food was mediocre. Growing up in coastal Virginia, you get accustomed to good seafood. This was typical food service faire. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional either. Portions were small and the menu somewhat pricey. Somewhat of a disappointment given my experiences with other places that have been on DDD.

Wow - great food, great service! For the best crab cakes, go to Chuck's. Don't forget the hushpuppies, and the frozen key lime pie with chocolate is to die for. We'll be back!

Food was OK, not at all what I would have expected. Growing up near the Chesapeake Bay, you get accustomed to really good seafood. Unfortunately, this was more on the mediocre side. Small portions, relatively bland flavor, limited menu, not worth the drive to get there. Wish I had driven to VA Beach where there are several very good seafood eateries.

While the crab was good, I felt the portions were a bit small for the price. Only had like 3 or 4 options for sides, and if you're like me and don't like beans, you're out of luck. Chuck was working when I was there, and walked right by me about six or seven times without saying a single word. Even a hello would've been nice. Don't think I'll ever go back.

My son is military,we actually got to talk yo the owner, he invited us back and told my son to wear his uniform and he would give us a discount. We loved the food, the resturant itself was ver unique and sat on the river. It was a great experience, We bought two of their T-shirts.

Wow, Wow, Wow, Really loved our visit. We really loved our visit. The staff was wonderful. The food was so so good. The crab was so fresh and sweet. The crab is the big draw here, but I love crab so I am good to go. I was very impressed with the Prayer Menu on the table. 2 thumbs up. Check them out I will when I get back to the area.

Terrific!! Chuck is the "real deal" ... personable, friendly, and comes right to your table. The food was terrific -- we could have eaten a gallon of the crab soup <and I will be trying to duplicate that when we get home!> The crab cakes were the best we've ever had, and we just came from Baltimore down the East Coast. This one is definitely worth the trip!

As a BIG FAN of DDD, we decided to give Chuck-a-Mucks a try. The staff and Cleanliness was outstanding. Their Hushpuppies was great along with the unisex crab soup, was not a big fan of the crab cakes (to much filler) or scallops, Tuna was also good. Also I have no problem paying for good food and portions but I thought it was overpriced quanity and quality for what we got. JD

We were there for lunch several months ago, shortly after seeing Guy do the show there. WOW some of the very best Sea Food ever. Just us there, it was about 2 p.m. and the young lady that waited on us was outstanding. Don't recall the name, but I asked if Chuck was cooking and she said no he was out at the time. Very Very clean and the food was VERY Special It's a long trip, but we'll be back one day. Might move to Burlington NC which will putus a little closer. Thank you very much for a great dinning experience. Bob
