New in the area, we ate here not knowing Triple D had been here. I had the Polish Platter, my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. In a word .. Yummy! We left full, satisfied and enough left over for another meal. Staff was nice, as was the owner, It's a nice little local spot and we will be back

We visited the Starlight about a month ago on a Thursday night, which is wing night. We had the fish sandwich, pierogies and some wings. The fish was huge but was pretty standard fish sandwich. Pierogies were also huge and very tasty with sauteed onions. Wings were also huge (a theme) and very good. The kitchen was only open until 9:00 p.m. and i also had the impression that they'd be unhappy with anyone ordering right before it's supposed to close. Funny it's a bar, but the kitchen closes so early! The waitress was nice, a relative of the owner, but she said that depending on "who is cooking" you may want to order or avoid certain menu items, so ask about that if you go!

The Starlight is fine for a quick cheap meal if your not in the mood for fast food. However they are famous for getting take out orders wrong very wrong, stale buns, and old fryer grease. The tag line says they are famous for late night dinning, the kichen closes at 9:00 and the cook pitches a fit if he is cleaned up and you ask for food at 8:55. I have no idea how this place made triple D and guy's lach of enthusiasm is evident on the show
