Unfortunately Standard Diner has been converted to The Range Cafe (same owners). The pandemic has been hard on everyone.

Had the bacon wrapped meatloaf in red wine gravy and it was excellent. Great atmosphere and good service.

Me and my friends go on a road trip every summer and try to go to a lot of unique food diners that have been shown on TV. And we've been to some great ones, and knowing that yours was on TV then plan on seeing us next summer for a visit.

great atmoshere, nice staff and even better food. Went herewhile on vacation. This is my favorite DDD location to date for one reason the bacon blue cheese burger....it is a great burger patty with a huge hunk of stinky blue cheese on top, what more could you want. also, their truffle fries are excelent

Just had brunch and could not be more pleased. I had the meatloaf and it was all that and more. My husband had the steak and eggs and loved it.

The Standard is great! I expected a basic diner from the name but found a treasure. My husband and I went with the specials, A steak tip pasta n a fresh citrus fish over whole wheat pasta. Fabulous! A bit pricy but fresh ingredients And the atmosphere made for a special occasion. Oh, the cucumber in the water.. Fab! Makes it taste fresh ;)

I wish I could give it a higher rating. We only went here because we were on vacation in NM and saw it on Food Network (triple D). The waitress was so nice to the booth in front of us, they were all laughing and talking, when she finally came over to us, we mentioned we were on vacation and wanted to try it out. She questioned us on when DDD was on recently, we told her two days prior, she thought we were lying, hello! She barely came over to us again to check if food was good, etc. My husband loved his tuna dish, I somewhat liked my acorn squash dish, too sweet, needed some kick. We would have ordered dessert, but felt the place did not need any more money from us. We plan to keep trying out places from triple D, but not this one again.

This was my third DDD stop. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I had the Truffle pecorino fries which were crisp and flavorful. There were numerous items that looked good but I had my eye on the country fried tuna. It was very good with the wasabi guacamole. It was light and not too heavy. The spicy Israeli couscous was a nice side. I asked how they cooked it and they told me they added Srichaca. I love that stuff. Overall a great place to go and would recommend it to others.

Really cool place, the decor was awesome. Service was good too. I had the ahi which was pretty good, I'd probably get something different next time. My boyfriend had the bacon meatloaf and loved it. I'm not a huge meatloaf fan but the bite I had was good; not dry and really flavorful. Also try the Monk beer.

Had a late lunch on Friday, October 8, 2010. I had the grilled swordfish tacos that were fantastic! Waiter was very good at helping to come up with a recommendation by asking what my food interests were. Overall service was good until it came time to obtain my check. I had to ask another waiter to secure my bill since my waiter became involved in another activity. John

Ate there on 10/10/09 and loved it. I got the meatloaf because of the show but there were so many items on the menu and some of the daily specials really tempted me. I got the bread pudding for dessert and was very happy with that choice. It is kinda weird to be in an upscale diner with tablecloths and wine glasses but they pull off the whole thing really well.

Visited 9/11/09 - Tried the Ahi and Rick had the meatloaf. Both wonderful! Rick says this was his favorite (of 4 3d's) in ABQ. Our server LOVES food it was nice to get his take. And they put cucumber in the waters! What's up with that?
