I had the Veal Picante w/ Pine Nuts and my fiancee had the Chicken Parmigiana w/ Pasta (both from the show). I thought my dish was very tasty and is the best Veal I've ever had. I also had a bite of the Chicken Parmigiana and thought it was fantastic (my fiancee loved it as well). The atmosphere was also very cool and felt family-friendly (everyone was so nice and treated you like you've always gone there). 9.2/10

They seem to have lost a lot of their flair recently, but the food is still good. Slow service and attitudes will turn you off though.

My son and I were in Chicago in November and stopped by this restaurant for dinner. He had the lemon chicken, and I had the veal parmigiana. We were both pleased with our entree's. Good home style Italian cooking. You can tell that it has a neighborhood following and that many of the folks who come there to eat are family, friends, neighbors and fans of the establishment. It was a great eating experience, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

AWESOME! Worth the cab ride from the city! Cannot wait to fly back to Chicago just so I can dine at this place!

I wish I had the receipe for the Shells, broccoli, shrimp. Really, really.

Great food!!! The stuffed shells are to die for. I have traveled there twice from Indiana after seeing it on tv and I will go back again sometime soon.

I am a born and raised Chicago girl and University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) alum. I walked past this restaurant on a regular basis for years when I was working on my undergrad (Tufano's is hidden away on a side street directly across from UIC's campus.) I finally decided to stop in one day and after that I was hooked! Tufano's is the place to go for a simple, yet delicious Italian dinner. It's great to see one of my favorite restaurants in the city get the recognition it deserves. Check it out!

The lemon chicken and the grilled pork chops are killer. Their pasta is fresh and the crispy potatos? Yum!

This is my favorite italian spot. Not too classy, but definately not a dive (or diner or drive-in). Great during the summer when you can sit outside. Highly recomended!
