This place is worth the stop if you're in ABQ.  The food will defintely be more creative than just about any place else in the price range and, if you like a rustic atmosphere, you won't be disappointed.  A heads up though, not much formality.  It's basically like going to someone's kitchen and getting a really good meal.

We have eaten several times at Sophia's, for both breakfast and lunch. Taco plates are awesome and breakfast burritos are BIG! I didn't know it was featured at DD&D, having found it with my Yelp app.

We stopped at Ezra's Place (in the bowling alley) in Nov 09 as Sophia's Place was not open for evening meals.  The food was fantastic with a menu that included daily specials.  I ordered the braised short rib sandwich (special that day) and my sister ordered the fish tacos - also one of the daily specials.  Both were fantastic.  I just wish we lived closer and could eat there more often.  Maybe next trip we can actually try Sophia's Place!

Visited 09/12/09 - Well kinda visited!!  We arrived not knowing that Sophia's does not do dinner, read the sign on the door that told us to join them at their sister restaurant Ezra's Place 2 blocks down in the bowling alley.  Sooooo glad I read the sign!! Ezra's Place is Chef Dennis new place for dinner so we got the same excellent food as at Sophia's.  Ezra's is in a bowling alley, that's atmosphere for ya! The menu is very eclectic, just the way we like!  I had the duck enchiladas and Rick had the Top sirloin. Both were wonderful!
