I of course had a squeeze burger here. The amount of cheese they put on it is ridiculous but it was so good. The staff was great but the open hours are not very good (close at 7:30, really?). I had to take it to go since I showed up at 7 but oh well. It's currently called Squeeze Burger due to copyright laws and they built the store around the original establishment. When you walk in, you can still see where the original shack was located which was really cool. 8.1/10

Squeeze Inn is yummy ... though the burgers with the cheese skirts qualify for "heart attack on a plate." The regular burger is HUGE; unless you're famished, get the smaller one. Fries and shakes are good too. I've been to the Power Inn and Midtown locations; both are equally good!

SQUEEZE WITH CHEESE, PLZ is the only way to go and you MUST GO to the Squeeze on Power Inn Road near Fruitridge Road in Sacramento......all others are franchise copies that are just OK. Except for the place in Truckee which is not related to the burger Squeeze. It is very good but it is more of breakfast dive. The ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL Squeeze, was so unique with the orange porch like entry (which was lovingly moved to the new location to serve as a private booth) had only a dozen counter stools inside, plastic picnic tables out back by the garbage dumpster, no parking and a tiny, nasty bathroom outside. Regular customers walked inside from the back door to get soda refills. They had to move down the road to this location because of an ADA law suit. I have been a loyal customer since the 80's when the first ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL Squeeze Inn was on the cannery triangle on Elvas for you Sacramentans!!!! I shot darts there long before most of the current employees where even born!! For the past 25 years my colleagues and I have treated ourselves to a Squeeze every chance we could since we worked at an elementary school in their neighborhood. Even now our greatest get togethers are meeting at the Squeeze. Over the years I have admired at how hard working and efficient Shelly has always been; managing phones, packing up take-out orders and seating people while cleaning tables, collecting money and delivering food!

There is a second location in the north part of Napa, CA, just off Highway 29.

The burgers and the cheeses skirt were good. But this is not the original as seen in the video. Still a must try once.

Sooooo overrated. The highly touted "cheese skirt" is really just a bunch of overcooked/almost burnt cheese. Can anyone say "emperor's new clothes"?

It has moved across the street, on Power Inn road.

Ok, my daughter and I made it to the place and we ordered the cheese skirt for lunch. It was very good as far as hamburgers go but it was not "all that." I have had better and worse but one thing about it, it is a big burger. Service was ok, but nothing to write home about, the place was clean especially for the amount of people that are being served there. The place was packed and space was limited and it took close to 30 mins to get our order (but allot of time was waiting for a table to open). Note: they have moved to a new location, my "GPS" did not know that. They are now diagonal to McDonalds, lake the left at the light and turn into the second drive way on the right. I think we will try the one in Truckee to see if it is any better. Still a do again, but nothing to go out of your way for.

Well the lady on the video clearly states that this is the Squeeze In located in "Truckee, Ca." just north of Lake Tahoe.
My Daughter and I will be headed to the one in Sacramento on Monday so I am expecting some off the hook food since it is a seven hour drive. I will post back once we return, our whole trip is just to get to Portland and to stop at the Diners Drives and Dives we cross along the way.

Both Squeeze Inn's are the greatest. Been to both. Do breakfast in Truckee and lunch in Sac! Could be the greatest day of your culinary life!

This in truly NOT the right place. Squeeze Inn in Sacramento does not do breakfast. Lived down the street until we moved to Tennessee.

I have been going to The Squeeze Inn for years. My favorite place for a burger in Sacramento. You have to love the cheese "skirt"!

Damn GREAT burger (Squeeze w/Cheese) and the steak sandwich was real real good as well. People working there are a fun group. Stop at the original (S. Sac.), it's fun!
